MEETINGS

Business Associates of Baton Roue (BABR) meets at the Oak Lodge Reception and Conference Center at 2834 S. Sherwood Forest Boulevard (Sherwood Commons E-1) every Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m.

The meetings typically last one hour. The meeting begins with an opening prayer by a member of the club, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, and "Joke Du Jour" of the day. While the members enjoy the breakfast buffet, juices and coffee that are served (included with the cost of membership), members who have volunteered to speak for that day are given that opportunity, with a question-and-answer session to follow.

Besides the weekly meetings, members are encouraged to sponsor an "After Hours Meeting", which typically occur at the sponsor's place of business. Yet another opportunity to meet your fellow business men and women in a relaxed and friendly environment, these after-hours meetings occur once a month, unless another club event (crawfish boil, Christmas party) is taking place.
